Simple explanations. Honest information.
Because you deserve to know what goes on your skin.

Our Philosophy on Ingredients

At I Am Organics, we believe skincare shouldn’t feel confusing or secretive. You don’t need a chemistry degree to understand your products — you just need clear, honest explanations.

That’s why we openly share what ingredients do, why they’re used, and how they support your skin.

Not to overwhelm you — but to empower you.

Naturally-Derived vs. Organic vs. Synthetic

Not to overwhelm you, but to empower you.

Organic

Organic ingredients are grown without certain pesticides or synthetic fertilizers and must meet certification standards. Some of our ingredients may be organic, but we do not claim every formula is 100% organic — because honesty matters.

Synthetic (and why they aren’t always bad)

Some ingredients are lab-created for safety, preservation, stability, and consistency. Not all synthetics are harmful — many are designed to make products safer and last longer.
What matters most is how ingredients are chosen and used.

Why Ingredients Matter

Every ingredient has a role. Some cleanse. Some moisturize. Some preserve freshness. Some help products feel smooth or stable. Good skincare isn’t about removing everything — it’s about using the right things in the right way.

Ingredient Spotlight

Botanical Oils

Often used to soften and support the skin barrier.
Examples: Jojoba oil, Pomegranate seed oil, Olive-derived ingredients. These oils can help skin feel nourished and comfortable.

Plant-Derived Cleansers

Gentler alternatives to harsh detergents.
They help cleanse without stripping skin’s natural feel.

Humectants

Ingredients that help attract moisture to the skin.
Examples: Glycerin, Sorbitol, Hyaluronic acid.
They help skin feel hydrated and balanced.

Preservatives (Yes, we use them)

Preservatives help prevent bacteria and mold in products that contain water.
Without them, products could become unsafe.
We choose preservatives thoughtfully and use them at safe, effective levels. Safety always comes first.
